From its perfect Mouille Point position, you're only minutes from the V&A Waterfront, the City, and the country's finest beaches. You're close enough to the new stadium to hear the ball hit the crossbar. And you couldn't get closer to Robben Island (or Brazil) without wetting your pants.

While Pepenero's opening hours and versatile menu lends itself to anyday, anytime dining, the magnificent seaside setting and ambience have the word "sundowner" written all over it. And the suggestive cocktail list makes a timely departure highly unlikely.

If you had something more intimate in mind, you'd probably prefer the indoor dining area - with its crystal chandeliers, upholstered booths and an 80m curved north-west facing window frontage that wraps around the restaurant like a pair of Prada shades, and bathes the restaurant in glorious, flattering, amber light as the sun calls it a day.
